Sören Michael Laird Sörries

Sören Michael Laird Sörries lives in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. He works as a Software developer, designer and projekt leader for Syntegra Germany (Team Messaging). His main assignments at work besides Perl are SQL databases, LDAP, Unix (Linux), network protocols.

He loves to talk or chat with many people, reads a lot, even more to dance and sing, play games (and organize gamer meetings), eat well and offer Scotch single malt whisky tastings. He is also part of the organising team of the 5th German Perl-Workshop in Bonn in March 2003.

For a number of years he has been organising all kinds of user groups and more recently he has started collecting Perl Mongers Groups (Frankfurt.pm, Röderbergweg.pm, German.pm). He speaks German, English, Norwegian and French.
